To further enhance the emergency response capabilities for hazardous chemical leaks and to firmly prevent and curb the occurrence of various types of disasters, the Safety and Environmental Protection Department of Jin Cheng Chemical organized a specialized emergency drill for titanium tetrachloride tank leaks in the production area. Mr. Liu, the General Manager, gave an opening speech and declared the drill officially commenced.
Once the drill officially commenced, the atmosphere on-site was both tense and orderly, with all drill teams and resources prepared in advance. The scenario involved: damage to the gasket at the flange of the valve at the bottom of the titanium tetra chloride storage tank in the company’s tank area, resulting in a leak of titanium tetra chloride and the formation of a large amount of white fog in the area.
Upon receiving the report, the on-site commander promptly activated the emergency response plan. Subsequently, the security and alert team, reconnaissance team, firefighting team, emergency monitoring team, rescue team, repair team, and supply team swiftly took action, all operating under the coordinated direction of the on-site command.
After the drill, General Manager Liu Fuming, the on-site commander, conducted a debriefing, addressing the issues observed during the exercise. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the Production Department's emergency response skills for various scenarios and environments. He urged that future drills be designed to reflect the most complex and challenging situations, aiming to build experience and improve rapid response and coordinated rescue capabilities.
This drill not only tested the company's emergency response plan but also enhanced the employees' emergency rescue skills. It has added a solid layer of protection to the company's safety measures, safeguarding the company's stable development and ensuring the safety of employees' lives and property.
