Laos Deputy Minister of National Defense Basi Leads Delegation to Visit GESC for Business Exploration

On January 5, a delegation of 15 officials from the Laos Ministry of National Defense, led by Deputy Minister Basi, visited GESC for a business exploration.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Tang Yin, President of GESC, along with Vice President Guo Zhigang, Sales Director Lei Ke.ting held in the company’s first-floor conference room.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Basi introduced the objectives and purpose of the delegation’s visit. In response, Tang Yin provided a detailed presentation on GESC’s development journey, industrial planning, and strategic vision. He also reflected on the longstanding partnership between GESC and Laos, highlighting the “China-Laos Friendship Tree” planted within the company’s campus as a symbol of their enduring friendship.

After the meeting, the delegation toured GESC’s production facilities and the D-Zone project, gaining first-hand insights into the company’s operations. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions about potential business collaborations and opportunities.

Deputy Minister Basi expressed his deep admiration for GESC’s achievements and its innovative approach to industrial development. “This visit allowed us to witness a modern chemical factory and a comprehensive circular economy industrial park. The experience has been incredibly rewarding,” he remarked. He further emphasized the desire to establish economic and trade cooperation with GESC, building a closer friendship and deeper partnership.
